– an attempt to investigate animal connotations in human facial expressions

To me, fashion expressions is some of the most culturally designed ways we can express ourselves as humans. So I decided to investigate how much of this elaborated cultural material, that is really something we share with other animal species.

The project invites to a game of comparing the different pictures and finding similarities and differences. The animal pictures are taken in Museum of Natural History in New York City and the fashion pictures are taken in my apartment.
